A pastor in the Northwest recently said, “Nations have come to us,” reflecting the beautifully diverse communities growing on the Eastside . Right in our own neighborhoods, we have an incredible opportunity to share the good news of God's salvation with our neighbors and co-workers.  Our heart is to make Jesus known and the Gospel accessible. We want to reach people with the life-transforming grace of Christ and build a community where faith thrives across cultures.

Meet the Pastor

Rev. Sagar Mekwan is originally from India. Raised in a polytheistic family with a deep passion for religion, he converted to Christianity at the age of 17 after hearing a sermon on Isaiah 53. Over the past 12 years, he has served as a missionary and pastor in diverse settings across India, Seoul (South Korea), and Korean-American PCA churches in Chicago.

He is married to Jihye, and together they have three children: Ellyn (11), Elise (7), and Elliot (4). Jihye was raised in a Presbyterian home in South Korea. Following her college graduation, she served as a missionary in India from 2006 to 2010, working in both New Delhi and Gujarat. She has also served in various capacities with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in India, New Zealand, and Fiji.

Rev. Mekwan holds an M.Div. from the Asian Center for Theological Studies and Mission (ACTS) in Korea and a Th.M. in Old Testament from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (TEDS). He is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Old Testament at TEDS in Deerfield, Illinois. He is fluent in Gujarati, Hindi, and English, and speaks conversational Korean and loves all things outdoor and gardening.

All Nations is a Mission church of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). This means that as we are getting established in Kirkland and we are governed and supported by a temporary Session of other elders in our presbytery.

Our Beliefs

As a member of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), All Nations Presbyterian Church holds to the historic creeds of the ancient church, including the Apostles’ and Nicene Creeds, as well as to the Westminster Standards arising from the Reformation era.
